Job Description:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenditures against budgets, and report on variances.
- Manage all daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. This involves recording all income and expenses.
- Monitor the organization's cash flow, managing bank accounts and reconciling statements to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee and reconcile the petty cash fund.
- Process payments to vendors, partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring all payments are properly authorized and documented.
- Process payroll for all staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with local laws, donor regulations, and internal organizational policies.
- Assist in preparing all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
