Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the strategic co-pilot and financial architect of our enterprise in Ikeja, Lagos. In a volatile economic landscape, the CFO is the primary guardian of liquidity and the lead designer of sustainable growth. This role is designed for a "Visionary Controller", a professional with 10+ years of experience (including 5 at the executive level) who can blend rigorous IFRS compliance with the business acumen required to drive investment decisions and cost optimization.

Your mission is to ensure "Strategic Solvency and Capital Efficiency." Reporting to the Managing Director and the Board, you will oversee the entire fiscal lifecycle: from high-level scenario planning and treasury operations to navigating the complexities of FIRS and CBN regulations. Requirements:

1. Strategic Leadership & Capital Architecture

• Growth Engineering: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with long-term objectives, ensuring business growth through disciplined investment and cost-saving initiatives.

• Board-Level Advisory: Provide the Managing Director and Board with critical insights into the financial implications of major business pivots and market expansions.

• Treasury & Liquidity: Oversee sophisticated cash flow management and working capital strategies to ensure the company remains agile and well-funded.

2. Fiscal Governance & Global Compliance

• IFRS Stewardship: Oversee the accounting function to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with Nigerian GAAP and IFRS, maintaining an "Audit-Ready" environment at all times.

• Statutory Liaison: Lead the company’s relationship with the FIRS, CBN, and other regulatory bodies, ensuring timely tax filings and total compliance with national financial laws.

• Internal Control Systems: Design and enforce a robust framework of internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate operational risks.

3. Performance Analytics & Stakeholder Management

• Advanced FP&A: Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, utilizing scenario planning and profitability analysis to guide departmental heads toward operational efficiency.

• External Diplomacy: Maintain and leverage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors to optimize the company’s capital structure and debt management.

• Human Capital Development: Mentor and lead the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of precision, professional ethics, and high productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. A Master’s Degree (Finance/MBA) is a mandatory requirement.

• Certification: Must hold a senior membership with ICAN, ACCA, or CPA.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Finance, with at least 5 years in a CFO or Senior Management role. Preference for candidates with backgrounds in FMCG, Construction, or Manufacturing.
