Job Description:
We are seeking a highly ethical and investigative professional to serve as our eyes and ears on the ground in Onitsha. You will be the crucial link between our risk oversight framework and our field operations, tasked with ensuring that our Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and agent networks operate with absolute integrity. Requirements:
Targeted Investigations: Lead independent investigations into field-level misconduct, including double-dealing, unauthorized onboarding, and unethical agent behavior.
Field Monitoring: Conduct unannounced inspections and on-site validations to verify the authenticity of agent status and BRM activities.
Data-Driven Risk Analysis: Analyze operational metrics and BRM performance data to identify red flags, irregularities, and suspicious trends that require immediate escalation.
Internal Control Testing: Assess the effectiveness of current controls throughout the agent lifecycle and recommend enhancements to prevent future gaps.
Evidence-Based Reporting: Produce objective, concise investigation reports detailing root causes, business impact, and recommended corrective actions.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a trusted point of contact for field management, providing risk insights while maintaining the professional distance necessary for independent oversight.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Internal Control, Business Administration, Finance, Criminology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal control, field audit, or investigative roles within the financial services or fintech sectors.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
