Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Fibre Maintenance Supervisor to anchor the outside plant engine of our Lagos operations. In a specialized telecommunications landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the restoration and the precision of the splice success is defined by "OSP Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize civil works with the clinical precision required for Fibre Optic Maintenance, Incident Management, and Right of Way (ROW) Liaison. This role is designed for a "Network Architect" specifically a professional with an Engineering or Applied Science degree and 2+ years of experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (mastering fusion splicing, OTDR analysis, and power meters) with the "Operational Agility" required to restore corporate services within a 3-hour window.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Restoration Governance

• SLA Sovereignty: Restore corporate service failures within 3 hours and retail failures within 12 hours with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Network Reliability."

• Incident Architecture: Provide prompt feedback into the OTRS application for all resolution activities, providing the "Structural Foundation" for transparent stakeholder communication.

• Activation Stewardship: Ensure FOS customer requests are activated within 3 days of sign-up, ensuring the "Source of Customer Satisfaction" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Infrastructure Logic

• Maintenance Sovereignty: Proactively identify and execute preventive actions on the fibre network, acting as the primary "Source of Preventive Integrity."

• Civil Architecture: Supervise civil works and quality control while processing ROW licenses with local authorities, providing the "Functional Foundation" for infrastructure expansion.

• Documentation Stewardship: Collate fibre plant information and prepare "As-Maintained" documents, maintaining the "Source of Network Visibility."

3. Operational Integrity & Technical Power

• Testing Sovereignty: Utilize OTDR, LSPM, and VFL tools to analyze and identify fibre links, acting as the primary "Source of Technical Diagnosis."

• Splice Architecture: Understand and execute complex network architectures and splice plans, providing the "Relational Foundation" for high-fidelity connectivity.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 2+ years of OSP maintenance expertise to accelerate the "Fault-to-Restoration" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Data Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: University Degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the telecoms industry with a focus on Fibre deployment and OSP maintenance.

• Technical Power: Expertise in Fusion Splicing, OTDR analysis, and LSPM testing.

• Software Tools: Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, AutoCAD, or GIS tools.
