Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized, and accountable Facility & Logistics Manager to take full ownership of our physical assets and lead logistics for our rentals subsidiary. This role goes far beyond administration; it is for a leader who takes personal pride in the physical condition and presentation of every piece of furniture and event equipment under their care. You will ensure that every item leaving the warehouse is functional, clean, and "event-ready," while simultaneously orchestrating seamless delivery schedules in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who leads by example on the warehouse floor as much as from behind a desk, fostering a culture of care and accountability across the logistics team.

Requirements:

Furniture & Asset Care (Core Focus)

• Quality Assurance: Physically inspect all furniture and equipment before and after every event to ensure peak condition.

• Maintenance & Repair: Identify and escalate damages immediately; coordinate prompt repairs, reupholstering, or cleaning to maintain premium standards.

• Handling Protocols: Establish and enforce strict standards for how items are wrapped, stacked, and transported to minimize wear and tear.

• Preventive Care: Develop maintenance schedules for high-use items and train the warehouse team on proper handling techniques.

Inventory & Logistics Operations

• Inventory Mastery: Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory of all furniture, tools, and vehicles, ensuring every item is tagged and accounted for.

• Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute the delivery, setup, and retrieval of rental items with zero tolerance for delays.

• Operational Efficiency: Manage route planning and dispatch schedules, supervising drivers and loaders to ensure careful handling at every touchpoint.

• Audit & Control: Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to prevent loss, misuse, or unauthorized removal of assets.

Fleet, Team & Reporting

• Fleet Management: Oversee company vehicle maintenance, documentation, and usage tracking.

• Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external transporters, upholstery specialists, and repair vendors, negotiating costs without compromising quality.

• Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistics teams, providing regular reports on asset utilization, damage rates, and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or asset management.

• Sector Knowledge: Experience within events, furniture rentals, or hospitality is highly preferred.

• Hands-on Background: Demonstrated experience in the physical maintenance and care of furniture or high-value event equipment.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Operational Leadership: Proven ability to supervise logistics teams and hold staff accountable for handling standards.

• Systems Proficiency: Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or specialized inventory management systems.

• Problem Solving: Excellent decision-making skills in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple simultaneous events.
