Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and technically rigorous Electrical Technician to anchor the power systems of our client’s facility in Lagos. In a high-demand industrial or corporate environment, success is defined by "Zero-Downtime Governance", the ability to harmonize proactive preventive maintenance with the rapid-response diagnostic skills required to resolve complex system faults. This role is designed for a "Systems Guardian" with at least 4 years of experience who can blend "Practical Installation Grit" with the "Analytical Precision" required to ensure 100% compliance with international safety standards.
Requirements:
1. Infrastructure Installation & Lifecycle Management
System Orchestration: Install and maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, and control systems with millimetric precision to support the facility's mission.
Component Mastery: Repair and calibrate specialized electrical equipment, ensuring all hardware operates within its optimal efficiency curve.
Operational Fluidity: Ensure a reliable power supply across all facility sectors, supporting the continuity of critical business operations.
2. Diagnostic Rigor & Corrective Engineering
Fault Synthesis: Diagnose electrical abnormalities and systemic failures using advanced troubleshooting techniques, implementing permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes.
Preventive Governance: Lead a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule to identify potential points of failure before they impact the facility.
Corrective Precision: Execute rapid-response repairs on faulty installations to restore system functionality with minimal disruption to the workforce.
3. Safety Stewardship & Record Integrity
Compliance Advocacy: Ensure all electrical activities comply strictly with local and international Electrical Safety Standards and Regulations.
Documentation Sovereignty: Maintain high-fidelity records of all maintenance activities, equipment health statuses, and incident logs to serve as the "Source of Truth" for facility management.
Hazard Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve electrical hazards, maintaining a "Zero-Accident" work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation (e.g., NABTEB, City & Guilds).
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-training experience in electrical maintenance within a corporate or industrial facility.
Skillset: Deep knowledge of electrical schematics, safety procedures, and diagnostic tools.
