Job Description:
This is a growth-focused, revenue-driven leadership role designed for a strategic and data-minded marketer. The Digital Marketing Lead will own and drive Taeillo’s digital marketing strategy across Nigeria, Kenya, and expanding markets, moving away from simple content scheduling to focus heavily on performance marketing, customer acquisition, and e-commerce revenue growth.
Requirements:
1. Digital Strategy & Growth
End-to-End Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies spanning SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid social, and display advertising.
Campaign Management: Own the digital marketing calendar from planning and execution through to post-campaign review.
Growth Expansion: Identify and activate new growth channels, including affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, and emerging platforms.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Optimize the entire e-commerce funnel on taeillo.com to turn first clicks into revenue.
2. Performance Marketing
Paid Ads Optimization: Plan and optimize paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and TikTok.
Efficiency Metrics: Manage campaign budgets and daily spend while rigorously maintaining a focus on Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Testing: Run continuous A/B tests on targeting, audience segments, ad creatives, and landing pages.
3. Analytics & Reporting
KPI Tracking: Track and report weekly on crucial metrics like website traffic, conversion rates, CAC, ROAS, and revenue attribution.
Funnel Analysis: Monitor the customer funnel closely to identify drop-off points and implement fixes.
Executive Reporting: Use data insights to provide clear, actionable recommendations directly to the CEO.
4. Email & CRM Marketing
Program Management: Build and scale Taeillo's email and SMS marketing programs, managing subscriber growth and audience segmentation.
Automation & Retention: Set up automated flows and promotional campaigns designed to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and drive repeat purchases.
5. Team & Brand Leadership
People Management: Direct, mentor, and review the work of the Social Media Associate to ensure content aligns with the overall growth strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and design teams to safeguard the brand’s aesthetic and tone of voice.
Market Insights: Keep the team ahead of the curve regarding African e-commerce, lifestyle, and furniture industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in digital marketing, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in a lead or senior capacity.
Technical Track Record: Proven success running high-performing Meta and Google ad campaigns with measurable revenue impact.
Tools: Practical proficiency with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms), and Klaviyo/Mailchimp.
Industry Background: Experience working within e-commerce, consumer goods, lifestyle, or fashion brands is highly valued.
Market Scope: Familiarity with or experience in Pan-African markets (particularly Nigeria and Kenya) is a strong plus.
