About Company:

Cool FM and Wazobia FM are popular Nigerian radio stations owned by the same parent company. Cool FM is a contemporary hit music station targeting a young audience, while Wazobia FM is Nigeria's first and leading Pidgin-language station.

Job Description:

• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand voice, audience interests, and business goals.

• Generate creative, on-trend ideas for shows, social media, web, and promotional campaigns.

• Create high-quality multimedia content, including copywriting, graphics, videos, and interactive posts, optimized for each platform.

• Edit and proofread content to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to brand tone.

• Collaborate closely with presenters, producers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.

• Manage and update content calendars for shows, social media, and digital platforms.

• Monitor performance analytics, including engagement, reach, and listenership, and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Stay updated on pop culture, entertainment, and digital media trends to keep content fresh and relevant.

• Support live coverage of events, interviews, and campaigns across multiple platforms.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.

• Proficiency with content creation tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.

• Proactive, trend-savvy, and highly collaborative mindset.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, media-driven environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

• 1–3 years of experience in digital content, media production, or social media.
