If you have 5+ years of experience in high-stakes corporate communications and a mastery of digital performance metrics, we invite you to build the future with us.

Requirements:

  • SEO & Traffic Optimization: Drive organic growth and website authority through advanced SEO strategies and a robust digital content framework.

  • Data-Led Insights: Analyze relevant metrics and emerging technologies to evaluate impact on business objectives and optimize budget planning.

  • Platform Management: Oversee the planning, monitoring, and maintenance of main sites, campaign microsites, and landing pages.

2. Content Architecture & Brand Stewardship

  • Managing Editor: Serve as the lead editor for all digital materials, creating targeted content for diverse stakeholders ranging from investors to plant employees.

  • Integrated Communications: Craft compelling articles, blogs, and e-newsletters that position Lafarge Africa as an industry thought leader.

  • Visual Narrative: Provide creative direction for graphic design, video production, and digital assets, managing the corporate image and video bank.

  • Conflict Resolution: Roll out and manage online conflict resolution procedures to address negative feedback and maintain brand sentiment.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Agency Management

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Interface with Commercial (Sales & Marketing) and Industrial teams to ensure all aspects of operations are fairly and accurately represented.

  • Vendor Governance: Manage digital agencies, consultants, and print services in strict alignment with Lafarge standards and procurement procedures.

  • Internal Influence: Build and maintain a stable network within the organization to facilitate content gathering and ensure cross-functional buy-in for digital initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years of specialized content planning.

  • Technical IQ: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), design software, and digital analytics tools.

  • Brand Mastery: Exceptional ability to write and edit within a strict corporate brand voice with high attention to detail.
