Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Cost Accountant to anchor the financial engine of our manufacturing operations. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the precision of the unit cost and the speed of the variance detection success is defined by "Cost Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize production data with the clinical precision required for Standard Costing, Landed Costing, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) Reconciliation. This role is designed for a "Fiscal Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of experience (with at least 2 years in Costing) who can blend "Industrial Grit" (analyzing waste and production metrics) with the "Strategic Agility" required to support IFRS-compliant financial reporting.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Cost Governance

• Model Sovereignty: Maintain and update standard costing models and allocation processes with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Pricing Logic."

• Valuation Architecture: Conduct precise inventory costing and reconciliation, including WIP, providing the "Structural Foundation" for balance sheet accuracy.

• Integrity Stewardship: Support financial statement preparation in line with IFRS, ensuring the "Source of Cost Disclosure" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Variance Logic

• Diagnostic Sovereignty: Perform rigorous cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions, acting as the primary "Source of Profit Recovery."

• Landed-Cost Architecture: Prepare precise landed cost calculations for imported materials, providing the "Functional Foundation" for total-cost visibility.

• Efficiency Stewardship: Analyze waste, production costs, and efficiency metrics, maintaining the "Source of Operational Optimization."

3. Operational Integrity & Systems Power

• Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual cost reports for management, acting as the primary "Source of Strategic Insight."

• Systems Architecture: Utilize ERP systems and Advanced Excel to manage cost accruals and adjustments, providing the "Relational Foundation" for a seamless close process.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Manufacturing Industry expertise to accelerate budgeting and forecasting cycles, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: 3 – 5 years total accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on cost accounting.

• Technical Power: Proficiency in ERP systems and Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Modeling).

• Added Advantage: ICAN/ACCA certification and experience within the Manufacturing Industry.
