Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting background within the construction or engineering industry, possess a relevant professional accounting certification, and be available to resume immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures across construction and engineering projects.
• Process payroll, statutory remittances, and tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant legislation.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for all financial transactions.
• Support management with financial planning and other accounting-related responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3–5years of accounting experience, with significant experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to resume immediately.
