Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Content Creator / Video Editor to join our team in Enugu. This role is designed for a digital storyteller who can blend strategic thinking with high-quality production. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of content development from conceptualizing social media strategies to filming and editing engaging videos that resonate with diverse audiences.

Requirements:

Content Production & Video Editing

• Original Creation: Design and produce high-quality posts, reels, stories, and graphics for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.

• Video Editing: Execute professional-grade video editing, ensuring all video content is polished, paced correctly, and optimized for specific platform algorithms.

• Visual Storytelling: Use creative direction to translate brand objectives into compelling visual narratives.

Strategy & Community Management

• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a robust social media strategy that aligns with the group’s overarching business goals.

• Daily Operations: Manage daily posting schedules and maintain an active, professional presence by responding to comments, inquiries, and direct messages promptly.

• Engagement: Actively engage with online communities to foster brand loyalty and increase organic reach.

Analytics & Optimization

• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze social media metrics using analytics tools to generate reports on campaign performance.

• Trend Adaptation: Stay current with evolving algorithms and social media trends to ensure Havana Group maintains competitive visibility.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing social media pages for established brands or organizations.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in video editing and content tools such as CapCut, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (added advantage).

  • Excellence in copywriting and visual storytelling.

• Strategic Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of audience engagement strategies and social media analytics.

  • Ability to manage multiple brand voices across different platforms.

• Portfolio Requirement:

  • Mandatory: Must provide a portfolio or direct links to social media pages currently or previously managed.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong professional communication skills.
