FSI Capital & Investment Limited was incorporated in the year 2014 to carry on the business of forex trading and other ancillary services in the financial sector. We are licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to carry our Burea De Change through our subsidiary company, Green fillet Bureau De Change Limited. We deal mainly in the three (3) major world currencies: American Dollars (USD), Great British pounds (GBP) and Euros. We offer a broad range of services to our diversified client base that includes individuals and corporate entities.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly disciplined and proactive Compliance Officer to serve as the guardian of our regulatory integrity. Based in our Ikoyi office, this role is critical to ensuring our institution operates within the strict frameworks of local and international financial laws.

As the Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for far more than just "checking boxes." You will architect our internal policies, conduct deep-dive risk assessments, and serve as the primary liaison between our business units and regulatory bodies. If you have 3–5 years of experience in financial services, FX, or an audit firm and possess an unwavering commitment to professional ethics, we invite you to lead our compliance function.

Requirements:

1. Regulatory Oversight & Policy Governance

  • Framework Management: Monitor and ensure absolute adherence to applicable laws, Central Bank (CBN) regulations, and internal mandates.

  • Policy Architecture: Develop, review, and continuously update compliance manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect changing legal landscapes.

  • Advisory Role: Act as a strategic consultant to management and business units, providing clear guidance on the regulatory implications of new products or operational changes.

2. Risk Mitigation & Forensic Investigation

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive compliance risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential vulnerabilities before they become liabilities.

  • Breach Investigation: Lead the investigation into any compliance failures or non-conformances, recommending swift and effective corrective actions (CAPA).

  • AML/KYC Surveillance: Ensure robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols are active and effective across all transactions.

3. Reporting & Regulatory Liaison

  • Reporting Excellence: Prepare meticulous compliance reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

  • External Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators and external auditors, managing the flow of information during inspections.

  • Training & Culture: Design and coordinate staff training programs to foster a high-integrity "culture of compliance" throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles. Experience in Financial Services, FX, or a Top-Tier Audit Firm is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge Base: Strong command of financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., CBN, SEC, NFIU guidelines) and global compliance standards.
