Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst I to join our team in Lagos on a contract basis. This is an ideal role for an emerging professional who is eager to solve organizational challenges, map complex processes, and contribute to the success of high-impact projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions, helping our leadership optimize project scopes, benefits, and risks. Requirements:

  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Analyze business requirements to identify organizational pain points and design effective, process-driven solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews with key project stakeholders to gather requirements, document findings, and present results clearly.

  • Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps and workflows (using Visio or similar tools) to visualize current states and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Project Optimization: Assist business users, project managers, and leadership in evaluating project scope, potential benefits, and operational risks.

  • Change Management: Facilitate communication and change management efforts to ensure seamless adoption of new processes or solutions.

  • Documentation: Write and maintain clear, accurate user documentation and project reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

    • Analytical Skillset: Ability to gather requirements and perform basic business analysis under supervision.

    • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Process Mapping software (e.g., Visio).

    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively to project teams.

    • Professionalism: A willingness to learn, adapt, and receive mentorship from senior team members and project managers.

  • Experience Level: This is a junior-level role; candidates should be comfortable working under high supervision to develop their analytical and documentation skills.
