Are you an expert in logistics looking to advance your career in a dynamic environment? We are hiring a dedicated Clearing Officer to join our team in Lagos. You will play a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring the accurate and efficient clearance of goods through customs while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
Documentation Excellence: Prepare, manage, and submit all necessary customs documentation with precision.
Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customs officials, ensuring all operations remain fully compliant with Nigerian Customs & Excise procedures.
Shipment Management: Proactively track and monitor shipments to guarantee timely clearance and delivery.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the clearance process to prevent delays.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and files for all import/export activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in clearing customs documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Advantageous: Additional certifications or training in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
