Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as the strategic engine of our financial institution. As the COO, you will be the bridge between our CEO’s vision and market reality, taking full ownership of our operational architecture. This mandate requires an executive who is equally comfortable optimizing traditional treasury and loan administration as they are leading a total digital overhaul of back-office systems. If you have a proven track record of reducing cost-to-income ratios through technology and fostering a high-accountability culture, this is your platform to define the future of banking.
Requirements:
1. Operational Excellence & Treasury Governance
Centralized Directorship: Provide executive oversight for all core banking functions, including high-volume payment processing, loan administration, and branch operations.
Treasury Stewardship: Direct central treasury operations to ensure optimal liquidity management and capital efficiency.
Service Delivery: Refine the "Service Blueprint" to ensure that both front-end and back-office operations deliver a seamless, high-performance customer experience.
2. Technology & Digital Transformation
Digital Architecture: Drive the transition from legacy systems to advanced, cloud-based digital banking platforms.
Process Automation: Spearhead the digitization of back-office workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks and enhance data accuracy.
Innovation Integration: Collaborate with the CTO/CIO to ensure that technology adoption directly correlates with operational scalability and security.
3. Risk, Compliance & Performance Metrics
Regulatory Guardianship: Ensure 100% adherence to central banking regulations and statutory requirements, maintaining a "zero-breach" operational environment.
Internal Controls: Strengthen the internal control framework to mitigate operational risks, fraud, and system vulnerabilities.
Financial Optimization: Set and monitor aggressive KPIs aimed at reducing the Cost-to-Income (CTI) ratio and maximizing resource productivity.
Qualifications and Skills:
Executive Profile
Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership in Banking Operations, with at least 5 years in a C-Suite or Senior Management capacity.
Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of modern Core Banking Systems (CBS) and the fintech landscape.
Strategic Vision: Proven ability to translate complex long-term visions into actionable, high-performance business plans.
