Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership within our dynamic media and entertainment ecosystem. This is a high-impact executive role responsible for more than just balance sheets; you will be the architect of our financial growth, driving the capital strategies that fuel content production and global expansion.

As the CFO, you will bridge the gap between creative ambition and financial discipline. You will manage complex project-based financing, optimize diverse revenue streams, and mitigate the unique risks inherent in the entertainment sector. If you are a strategic leader with 10–12 years of experience and a proven ability to manage high-stakes funding rounds and investment decisions, we invite you to lead our financial future.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Growth

  • Strategy Orchestration: Develop and implement the overarching financial strategy, ensuring it aligns with long-term business objectives and content production cycles.

  • Capital & Investment Strategy: Manage the company’s capital structure and liquidity. Lead corporate financing activities, including funding rounds and strategic investment arrangements.

  • Economic Modeling: Drive sophisticated financial modeling and long-term forecasting to assess the viability of new programs, product launches, and regional expansions.

2. Operational Excellence & Risk Governance

  • Financial Ecosystem Management: Oversee all accounting, treasury, and cash flow operations, maintaining rigorous internal controls and financial policies.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and neutralize financial and market risks specific to the media landscape, ensuring the organization remains resilient against industry volatility.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure "gold-standard" financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) that complies with international accounting standards and statutory obligations.

3. Profitability & Stakeholder Management

  • Revenue Optimization: Drive cost-control initiatives and optimize revenue generation across all business units and productions.

  • Tax Strategy: Lead efficient tax planning to minimize exposure while ensuring 100% compliance with legislative requirements.

  • Executive Liaison: Act as the primary financial voice to investors, auditors, regulators, and banks, providing the insights necessary for high-level decision-making.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performance finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 10–12 years of relevant financial experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Director/CFO level).

  • Industry IQ: Prior experience in Media, Entertainment, or Project-Based organizations is a significant advantage.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Certifications: Professional qualification (e.g., ACA or ACCA) is mandatory.

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see beyond the numbers to the commercial and creative drivers of the business.

  • Influence & Diplomacy: Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with investors and external partners.

  • Analytical Mastery: Expertise in complex financial modeling and data-driven decision support.

  • Integrity: Unwavering ethical standards in managing corporate assets and regulatory compliance.
