We are seeking an experienced and certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) for our client to lead their Technical Operations and deliver high-impact compliance solutions across sectors.

You will drive strategy, lead audits, liaise with the NDPC, manage data breach response, and support clients in embedding data privacy best practices.

Job Description:

• Lead all technical compliance operations and service delivery.
• Conduct data protection impact assessments, gap analysis, and audits.
• Develop privacy governance frameworks and policies for clients.
• Guide breach response, reporting, and mitigation efforts.
• Represent The Rainbow Strategy in regulatory, technical, and stakeholder engagements.
• Supervise compliance consultants and technical advisors.
• Facilitate client training and public education on data protection.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Information Security, or related field.
• NDPC-recognised DPO certification (mandatory).
• At least 5 years’ experience in data protection, legal compliance, or IT governance.
• Preferred: CIPM, CIPP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of the NDPA 2023, NDPR, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
