Job Description:

We are looking for two reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team in the Chevron area of Lekki, Lagos. You will be the final point of contact for our customers, responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, maintaining a balanced till, and providing a friendly, efficient checkout experience. If you are highly organized, possess strong numerical skills, and take pride in providing excellent service, we invite you to apply for this essential role.

Requirements:

• Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer payments using our Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, card, and digital transfers.

• Customer Service: Provide a welcoming experience, handle customer inquiries professionally, and ensure an efficient checkout process to minimize wait times.

• Till Management: Reconcile your cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, ensuring 100% accuracy in financial records.

• Sales Support: Assist with scanning items, bagging goods, and maintaining a clean, organized checkout environment.

• Operational Compliance: Adhere strictly to company policies regarding discounts, refunds, and security protocols for handling cash.

• Reporting: Generate daily sales reports and report any discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Relevant academic qualification (e.g., OND, HND, or SSCE with proven bookkeeping experience).

• Experience: Previous experience as a cashier, store clerk, or in a retail customer service environment is highly preferred.
