Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to manage daily point-of-sale operations at our furniture showroom in Victoria Island. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and pleasant checkout experience. If you are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a retail environment, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Manage all financial transactions accurately using POS systems.

• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with inquiries and processing payments efficiently.

• Maintain precise records of daily sales and cash drawer reconciliations.

• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment methods with complete integrity.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly front-desk showroom area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in any discipline.

• Experience: 1–2 years of proven cashiering experience in a supermarket, retail outlet, or furniture store.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office).

• Soft Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, excellent verbal communication, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

• Integrity: High level of honesty, accountability, and keen attention to detail.

• Location: Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Victoria Island, Lagos.

• Availability: Must be available for immediate resumption.
