Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Business Relationship Officer to join our Corporates team in Lagos. This is a critical "Analyst + Partner" role designed for a professional who can take full ownership of enterprise client relationships. You won't just manage accounts; you will drive the delivery, optimization, and success of sophisticated payment products for mid-to-large corporate entities.

As the primary point of contact for our enterprise clients, you will work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Compliance. Your goal is to ensure operational excellence, troubleshoot complex implementation hurdles, and analyze transaction data to drive strategic growth. If you have 5–7 years of experience in fintech, corporate banking, or treasury, and a deep understanding of global payment systems, we invite you to lead our corporate engagements.

Requirements:

1. End-to-End Solution Implementation

• Onboarding Stewardship: Manage the complex implementation of bespoke payment solutions, ensuring a seamless transition for corporate clients from contract to "live" status.

• Operational Excellence: Act as the technical and relationship lead for payment product adoption, ensuring clients are utilizing the full capabilities of our B2B instruments.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to troubleshoot technical bottlenecks and ensure timely service delivery.

2. Data Analytics & Strategic Insights

• Transaction Intelligence: Analyze client transaction trends and usage patterns to provide actionable insights that improve client efficiency and volume engagement.

• Reporting & Proposals: Prepare high-quality solution proposals and process documentation that translate technical capabilities into business value for C-suite stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement: Use client feedback and market data to identify and advocate for product feature enhancements and process optimizations.

3. Risk, Compliance & Relationship Management

• Regulatory Governance: Ensure all client activities and operational workflows strictly adhere to CBN, NDIC, and internal risk standards.

• Strategic Diplomacy: Build and maintain high-level relationships within corporate treasury and finance departments to ensure long-term retention and referrals.

• Negotiation: Act as a confident negotiator capable of closing complex business deals that align with the bank's long-term profitability goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of post-NYSC experience specifically in Fintech, Corporate Banking, Treasury, or Enterprise Client Services.

• Payment IQ: Solid understanding of B2B payment instruments, including NEFT, RTGS, ACH, and SWIFT.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Stack: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas) and/or SQL; comfort using data to drive decision-making.

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and complex project timelines.

• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
