Job Description:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Fintech ecosystem
  • Drive adoption of Fintech products such as digital payments, wallets, lending, collections, APIs and merchant services 
  • Expand company’s presence across SMEs, corporates, institutions and strategic partners 
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and emerging opportunities
  • Acquire and onboard merchants, corporate clients and institutional partners 
  • Lead client engagements, presentations, demos and negotiations
  • Identify and manage partnership agreements, pricing models and commercial terms 
  • Represent the company in industry events, Fintech forums and networking sessions
  • Drive transaction volume, revenue growth and market expansion
  • Track performance against revenue and growth targets 
  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Legal teams to ensure BD activities align with regulatory requirements 
  • Understand regulatory guidelines affecting Fintech operations and partnerships 
  • Prepare periodic business development and pipeline reports 
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to management 
  • Track KPIs related to revenue, partnerships and client growth
  • Collaborate with Product Technology, Operations, Finance and Customer Support teams 
  • Please note that your employment is subject to a periodic performance contract with clearly defined Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators. 

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of digital payments, financial technology products or platform-based services 
  • Proven experience in B2B or partnership-driven sales 
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities 
  • Strategic thinking and relationship management 
  • Understanding of Fintech products and ecosystems
  • Data-drive and performance-oriented mindset 
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related field 
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in business development, sales or a similar role, preferably in Fintech or financial services
