Job Description:
- As the Business Development Officer / Sales Officer will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, expanding market presence, and supporting cross-selling initiatives across the group’s financial services subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the IMTO’s footprint across target markets in Nigeria.
- Identify, onboard, and manage new agents, sub-agents, and payout partners including banks, fintech, and mobile money operators.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and emerging trends.
- Promote and cross-sell group financial products such as loans, investments, insurance, and savings products.
- Support agent onboarding, training, and engagement in collaboration with compliance, operations, and customer support teams.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and maintain accurate documentation of contracts and SLAs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services industry (banking, FX, or fintech).
- Proven ability to meet revenue targets and drive client acquisition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
Salary
