Job Description:
We are seeking a high-impact Brand & Activations Manager to drive the growth, visibility, and market penetration of our portfolio. In the FMCG and beverage landscape, a brand is only as strong as its last consumer interaction. Your mission is to serve as the custodian of brand equity while leading high-energy on-ground activations that convert curiosity into lifelong loyalty.
This role requires a unique hybrid of a Strategic Marketer and an Operational General. You will be responsible for everything from crafting annual brand plans and integrated digital campaigns to supervising roadshows and trade activations in the heart of the market. Requirements:
1. Brand Stewardship & Equity Building
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual brand plans that align with corporate objectives and long-term market share targets.
Identity Governance: Implement and enforce strict brand guidelines across packaging, creative assets, and messaging to ensure a unified voice.
Perception Monitoring: Track consumer sentiment and market feedback to proactively refine brand positioning and improve long-term equity.
2. Integrated Marketing & Consumer Insights
Campaign Architecture: Design and implement 360-degree marketing campaigns spanning traditional media, digital platforms, and experiential channels.
Insight-Driven Strategy: Conduct deep-dive market research and competitive analysis to uncover the consumer insights that drive Nigerian purchasing behavior.
Budget Optimization: Manage the marketing budget with high fiscal discipline, ensuring every naira spent contributes to a measurable return on investment (ROI).
3. On-Ground Activation & Experiential Lead
Execution Excellence: Oversee the logistics, staffing, and live execution of tastings, sampling programs, roadshows, and trade activations.
Partnership Management: Identify and manage strategic partnerships (influencers, venues, vendors) that amplify brand reach.
Field Leadership: Supervise on-site promoters and activation teams, resolving operational issues in real-time to ensure seamless consumer experiences.
Post-Game Analysis: Gather and analyze sales data and consumer feedback from activations to inform future strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
Experience: 4–7 years in brand management or marketing roles, ideally within the FMCG, Beverage, or Lifestyle sectors.
Market IQ: Deep understanding of the Nigerian trade channels, open markets, and evolving consumer trends.
Agency Savvy: Proven experience managing creative, digital, and activation agencies to deliver high-quality output.
