Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically curious Assistant IT Support Officer (Intern) to anchor the digital engine of our operations in Lagos. In a specialized corporate and hospitality landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the uptime of the network and the precision of the Guest Management System success is defined by "Infrastructure Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize hardware maintenance with the clinical precision required for LAN/WLAN Monitoring, PBX Support, and Cyber-Security Compliance. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" with a Computer Science/Engineering background who can blend "Hands-on Grit" (repairing desktops, cabling racks, and configuring CCTV) with the "Strategic Agility" required to support Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Opera PMS.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Connectivity Governance

• Network Sovereignty: Set up and monitor LAN/WLAN and PBX systems with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Office Connectivity."

• Integration Architecture: Integrate computer systems to increase information sharing and compatibility, providing the "Structural Foundation" for collaborative productivity.

• Integrity Stewardship: Maintain and update information systems including hardware, software, and devices, ensuring the "Source of Systemic Reliability" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Troubleshooting Logic

• Incident Sovereignty: Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, and printing issues, acting as the primary "Source of Rapid Technical Resolution."

• Security Architecture: Manage firewalls (Cyberoam/Sophos), IPS, and IDS protocols, providing the "Functional Foundation" for a secure digital perimeter.

• Support Stewardship: Provide expert assistance for ERP systems (Dynamics Navision) and Hospitality tools (Micros/Opera), maintaining the "Source of Guest-Service Excellence."

3. Operational Integrity & Resource Power

• Virtualization Sovereignty: Utilize experience with virtualization and fiber technologies to optimize infrastructure, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Scalability."

• Systemic Architecture: Handle Racks, cabling systems, and CCTV monitoring with high attention to detail, providing the "Relational Foundation" for physical and digital security.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Microsoft Cloud and Exchange expertise to resolve mail and synchronization issues in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Technical Throughput" in Lagos.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (NYSC completed).

• Experience: 0 – 1 year of relevant experience; background in Hotel IT Support is highly preferred.

• Age/Status: Must not be above 26 years of age at the time of application.

• Technical Power: Familiarity with Switches, Routers, Sophos XG, and Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.

• Specialized Edge: Experience with Micros, Opera PMS, and fiber optics is a significant advantage.

Core Competencies

• Technical Grit: Hands-on ability to repair hardware and manage physical cabling/racks.

• Connectivity Sovereignty: Strong problem-solving skills for resolving complex user connectivity and mail issues.

• Execution Power: Ability to work independently under pressure, including 6 days weekly (Fridays – Sundays) and odd hours as required.
