Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Backend Developer to join our engineering team in building the "engine" behind high-performance applications. This role is designed for a developer who moves beyond simple coding to focus on scalability, security, and seamless integration.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust server-side logic for various sectors. Your mission is to ensure that our applications are fast, reliable, and capable of handling complex data transactions. Requirements:

1. Scalable Server-Side Development

• Application Architecture: Develop and maintain high-performance backend logic using Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript, ensuring the code is modular, testable, and scalable.

• System Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to support diverse sectors ranging from Fintech to Logistics.

• Data Management: Design and manage database schemas that represent and support complex business processes.

2. API Engineering & Integration

• RESTful Design: Architect and implement high-quality RESTful APIs that allow for seamless communication between the front-end and the server.

• Modern Protocols: Utilize GraphQL (where applicable) to optimize data fetching and improve application performance.

• Documentation Excellence: Maintain rigorous API documentation (using tools like Swagger or Postman) to ensure clear communication with front-end teams and third-party integrators.

3. Collaboration & Lifecycle Management

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Work closely with Front-end Developers and UI/UX Designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Security Implementation: Build-in security protocols and data protection measures at the architectural level.

• Continuous Integration: Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including code reviews, unit testing, and deployment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: BSc or HND in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active work experience in a Backend Development capacity.

Technical Stack

• Languages: Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and Java (Spring Boot).

• API Design: Proven track record in RESTful API development and integration.

• Pluses: Experience with GraphQL and automated API documentation tools.
