Job Description:
Are you a cloud professional looking to architect and build the next generation of enterprise digital solutions? We are seeking highly skilled and delivery-focused Azure Developers to join our technology team in Lagos. This role is open across multiple seniority levels Intermediate, Specialist, and Consultant, depending on your depth of experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining scalable cloud applications using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will work within enterprise-scale digital environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional Agile teams (including Product, Engineering, and QA) to implement robust, secure, and high-performing integrations. Requirements:
Cloud Development & Integration: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and robust APIs leveraging Microsoft Azure services and enterprise integration patterns.
DevOps & Automation: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, and version control standards to ensure rapid, reliable software delivery.
Performance & Scalability: Monitor, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure and applications to maintain peak operational performance, security, and reliability.
Governance & Security: Apply secure coding and cloud development practices, ensuring compliance with access control, logging, monitoring, and enterprise cloud governance standards.
Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile delivery streams (Scrum/Kanban), working effectively within multidisciplinary teams to hit defined project timelines.
Documentation & Artefacts: Create and maintain immaculate technical documentation, deployment artefacts, and operational guides to support seamless project handovers.
Technical Support: Assist with testing activities, deployment validation, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline. (A postgraduate degree is a plus).
Certifications: Microsoft Azure professional certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Solutions Architect) are highly advantageous.
Experience:
7 to 15+ years of relevant professional tech experience, depending on your target role level (Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).
Proven track record working within an enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environment.
NYSC: Must have successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
Methodologies: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
