Job Description:

We are looking for an inventive and innovative Senior AI-UX Design Lead to join our team and spearhead the integration of smart, AI-based interactions into our healthcare products. This is a highly specialized role that sits at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence. You will act as the bridge between complex machine learning models and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring that AI functionalities are not just technically sound, but also user-friendly, ethical, and accessible.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of experience and a passion for translating high-level data science into "invisible" and delightful user experiences that improve patient outcomes and increase product value.

Requirements:

AI Experience Conceptualization & Prototyping

• Strategic Design: Conceptualize and illustrate AI-driven user experiences through storyboards, process flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

• Intelligent Simulations: Create AI-driven prototypes and simulations that showcase intelligent interactions, such as predictive text, personalized health insights, or automated workflows.

• Design-Science Translation: Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to understand complex functionalities and translate them into user-friendly design solutions.

Research, Testing & Ethics

• User Research: Conduct in-depth user studies to create personas, user stories, and sitemaps specifically tailored to AI-integrated systems.

• Iterative Testing: Use usability testing tools and methodologies to gather feedback on AI-UX designs, iterating based on real-world user data and behavior.

• Ethical Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with accessibility guidelines and rigorous ethical considerations, particularly regarding data privacy and AI bias in a healthcare context.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Present design concepts and technical rationale to internal stakeholders, integrating feedback from healthcare experts and product managers.

• Emerging Tech Exploration: Experiment with emerging AI tools and machine learning developments to bring cutting-edge, data-driven solutions to our healthcare suite.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive UX documentation, including assets, icons, wireframes, and mockups, ensuring design consistency across all platforms.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, AI/ML, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in UX design with a focus on intelligent systems.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong knowledge of AI-specific design tools and platforms.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Ability to integrate AI components and data structures into standard design workflows.

• Core Competencies:

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to understand deep AI models and algorithms to inform UX decisions.

  • Communication: Exceptional skills in presenting complex design rationales to diverse technical and non-technical teams.

  • Proactiveness: A drive to continuously analyze user data to refine and enhance the product experience over time.
