Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Accountant & Admin Officer to manage our company’s financial and administrative operations. In this dual-capacity role, you will be responsible for the integrity of our financial data, from daily bookkeeping and payroll support to complex financial reporting and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strong administrative oversight to ensure seamless day-to-day operations that support our overall business growth.

Requirements:

Financial Management & Bookkeeping

• Transaction Oversight: Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Cash Flow & Invoicing: Manage the end-to-end billing process and monitor cash flow to ensure all operational and financial obligations are met.

• Debt Recovery: Proactively follow up on outstanding payments and lead debt recovery efforts to maintain healthy liquidity.

Reporting & Budgetary Control

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely financial statements, summaries, and performance reports for management review.

• Budget Monitoring: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and conduct regular monitoring of actual expenditures against approved limits.

• Disbursements: Oversee the timely disbursement of funds for operational expenses and process employee reimbursements with high accuracy.

Compliance & Administration

• Tax & Regulatory: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and tax requirements, including VAT filing.

• Audit Readiness: Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation to ensure smooth internal and external audits.

• Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams regarding financial queries and operational requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: * Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in both accounting and administrative functions.

  • Hands-on experience with VAT filing and tax compliance.

• Certifications: ACCA, ICAN, or CPA certification is considered a significant added advantage.

• Technical Skills: * Familiarity with Etax Pro Max software is highly desirable.

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting principles and local financial regulations.
