The Tamrose Graduate Trainee Programme is a high-intensity, 12-month leadership incubator designed to develop the next generation of maritime and offshore experts. Requirements:
As a trainee, you will undergo 3–4 month rotations across core departments to build a 360-degree view of the offshore services ecosystem.
1. Fleet & Marine Operations
Vessel Stewardship: Assist in coordinating offshore support vessels (OSVs), mastering scheduling, maintenance, and international maritime standards.
Logistics Planning: Gain hands-on experience in fleet management, crew deployment, and real-time operational logistics.
2. HSSE & Quality Compliance
Zero-Incident Culture: Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
Operational Safety: Learn to implement rigorous HSSE protocols that ensure safety in high-risk offshore environments.
3. Integrated Supply Chain & Procurement
Technical Sourcing: Support the procurement of specialized vessel spares and equipment.
Cost Efficiency: Understand the integrated strategies that keep maritime logistics lean and effective.
4. Commercial & Financial Strategy
Business Development: Shadow teams in contract negotiations and market trend analysis within the oil and gas sector.
Fiscal Sustainability: Contribute to budgeting and financial reporting that drives fleet expansion.
Qualifications and Skills:
The Ideal Candidate
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum Second Class Upper) in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Electrical), Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Maritime Studies.
Graduation Window: Must have graduated between 2021 and 2026.
Experience: 0–2 years (Internships are welcome; no extensive full-time experience required).
Age: 27 years or below as of the application deadline.
Core Competencies
Analytical Mindset: Ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with maritime management software is a plus.
Resilience: Willingness to relocate to Lagos or Port Harcourt and travel for offshore assignments.
