Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Loader to support our logistics operations in Ikeja. In this role, you will be responsible for the manual handling of goods, ensuring that all items are moved, loaded, and stored safely and efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of our supply chain by ensuring that quantities match our records and that the workspace remains organized.

The ideal candidate is a physically fit individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements:

Material Handling & Logistics

• Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload items from delivery vehicles and shipping containers with care and precision.

• Storage & Stacking: Move goods within the warehouse and ensure they are stacked properly in their designated locations to maximize space and prevent damage.

• Inventory Verification: Assist in checking the quantities of incoming and outgoing items against delivery records to ensure accuracy.

Safety & Workplace Maintenance

• Workspace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free workspace to ensure the safety of all team members.

• Safety Adherence: Follow all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines regarding the manual lifting and moving of heavy items.

• Equipment Care: Properly use and store any manual handling equipment (e.g., trolleys or hand jacks) provided by the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Eligibility

• Qualification: Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent.

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy goods throughout the shift.

Technical & Professional Skills

• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately count items and spot discrepancies in records.

• Instruction Following: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors strictly.
