Job Description:

Are you an expert in the ever-changing world of international travel regulations? Traveltank is seeking a dedicated Visa Advisory specialist to join our Lagos team. In this role, you will be the primary consultant for clients seeking to navigate the complexities of global visa applications.

The ideal candidate is a meticulous researcher and an empathetic communicator, capable of guiding clients through documentation requirements for various destinations while ensuring a high success rate and a stress-free experience.

Requirements:

Visa Consultation & Advisory

• Client Guidance: Provide expert advice to individuals and corporate clients on visa requirements for various countries (UK, USA, Schengen, Canada, etc.).

• Documentation Review: Meticulously review client applications, supporting documents, and financial evidence to ensure compliance with consular standards.

• Process Tracking: Monitor the status of applications and provide timely updates to clients throughout the visa lifecycle.

Compliance & Research

• Regulatory Updates: Stay abreast of the latest changes in immigration laws, visa fees, and embassy procedures to provide accurate and current advice.

• Risk Assessment: Identify potential "red flags" in applications and offer strategic solutions to improve the likelihood of approval.

• Liaison: Coordinate with embassy representatives and third-party processing centers (VFS, TLScontact, etc.) where necessary.

Customer Experience & Sales

• Relationship Management: Build trust with clients by providing professional, transparent, and empathetic service.

• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend other Traveltank services, such as travel insurance, flight bookings, and tour packages.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all consultations and successful applications within the company’s database.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in any relevant discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience in a Visa Advisory or Travel Consulting role is highly required.

• Core Competencies:

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the visa application portals and requirements for major travel destinations.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in complex forms and legal documents.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Aptitude: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.
