Job Description:

Are you a visionary designer who believes that financial technology should be as intuitive as it is powerful? We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team on the Lagos Mainland. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting seamless, secure, and user-centric digital experiences for our banking and fintech products. If you have a deep understanding of complex financial user flows and a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to simplify the complex, we want you to shape the future of our digital solutions.

Requirements:

• User-Centric Design: Translate complex financial concepts into clean, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces.

• End-to-End Design: Manage the entire design process, from conceptualization and user research to wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and final hand-off.

• Fintech Specialization: Develop solutions that prioritize security, trust, and speed—the core pillars of our banking products.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and data teams to iterate on designs based on technical feasibility and user testing feedback.

• Design System Maintenance: Contribute to and maintain our evolving design system to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.

• Industry Mandate: Proven experience in the Fintech and/or Banking industry is mandatory. We are looking for someone who understands financial regulatory environments and user security requirements.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.) and deep knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design principles.

• Key Competencies:

  • Complexity Management: Demonstrated ability to design for complex data structures and sensitive financial transactions.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment, communicating design decisions effectively to non-design stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to consistency, accessibility (WCAG), and visual design.
