Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Structural Construction Manager to take the helm of our large-scale building projects and site teams in Nigeria. This is a high-impact leadership role for an engineer who thrives in complex environments and is committed to delivering structural excellence and innovation.

You will be the primary authority on-site, orchestrating diverse trades and subcontractors to ensure every phase of construction meets international quality and safety standards. Requirements:

1. Site Leadership & Trade Coordination

  • Team Command: Take full charge of site teams, providing technical direction and leadership to ensure peak productivity.

  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate diverse trades and external partners, auditing their output to ensure top-quality results and adherence to design specifications.

  • Proactive Work Preparation: Drive the planning and preparation phases to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations on-site.

2. Operational Governance & Compliance

  • Safety & Standards: Implement and enforce rigorous site safety (HSE) protocols and regulatory compliance to achieve a zero-incident environment.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage change orders efficiently and audit invoices to ensure project costs remain within budgetary constraints.

  • Progress Tracking: Oversee personnel and schedule management to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.

3. Technical Documentation & Reporting

  • Digital Integration: Utilize MS Office and RIB iTWO (preferred) to maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and structural documentation.

  • Communication: Serve as the central node for communication between site teams, engineers, and senior management, maintaining B2/C1 English proficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a certified Technician/Master with significant relevant experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ expertise specifically in complex, large-scale building projects.

  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with RIB iTWO is a distinct advantage.

  • Language: English language skills at a B2/C1 level.
