Job Description:
Are you passionate about driving the transition to sustainable energy? We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled, hands-on Solar Engineer to lead the technical execution of our solar PV projects.
In this role, you will be on the front lines of renewable energy, moving from initial site assessment and design to the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar systems. Requirements:
Design & Assessment
Site Intelligence: Lead site surveys and conduct accurate load assessments to determine system requirements.
System Design: Design high-efficiency solar PV systems tailored to client needs, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Installation & Execution
Project Oversight: Supervise the installation process from start to finish, ensuring strict adherence to technical blueprints.
Commissioning: Conduct rigorous testing and commissioning procedures to ensure systems are fully operational and performing at peak capacity upon handover.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Technical Support: Act as the primary technical troubleshooter for inverters, battery storage systems, solar panels, and associated electrical equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities meet or exceed safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Eng / B.Sc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in solar PV installation and design.
Practicality: You must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrate a genuine willingness to work on-site, as field presence is critical to this role.
