Job Description:
Fortitude IoT is seeking a high-velocity Social Media Manager to architect, manage, and scale our digital presence. This is not just a "posting" role; it is a strategic position sitting at the high-stakes intersection of Brand Storytelling, Community Building, and Performance Marketing.
You will be responsible for translating complex technical solutions—IoT, retail-tech, energy, and digital commerce—into simple, relatable, and conversion-driven narratives. Whether you are driving B2B thought leadership on LinkedIn or scaling merchant acquisition on Instagram, your goal is to position Fortitude IoT as the most innovative and growth-focused technology brand in the African ecosystem.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Planning & Technical Storytelling
Integrated Strategy: Develop 360-degree social media strategies that align with B2B and B2C unit objectives, ensuring brand consistency across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and TikTok.
Complex-to-Simple Content: Lead the creation of high-quality reels, carousels, and thought-leadership pieces that demystify IoT and energy solutions for a broad audience.
Launch Integration: Align digital content calendars with real-world product launches, offline activations, and strategic partnerships.
2. Community Architecture & Social Listening
Active Moderation: Manage daily interactions, DMs, and comments, serving as the primary voice of the brand.
Ecosystem Growth: Build and nurture vibrant online communities for our partners, agents, and merchants.
Strategic Listening: Act as the first line of market intelligence, flagging customer trends, competitor moves, and potential reputational risks in real-time.
3. Performance Marketing & Data Governance
Lead Generation: Design and manage campaigns specifically built to drive app downloads, merchant onboarding, and B2B lead acquisition.
Optimization & ROI: Work alongside the performance team to optimize targeting and ad spend.
Actionable Analytics: Track KPIs (CTR, CPL, ROI, and Sentiment) to produce weekly reports that influence broader business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media.
Experience: 2–4 years as a Social Media Manager or Digital Specialist, with a track record of managing multiple business units simultaneously.
Industry Savvy: A strong understanding of the Nigerian and African tech ecosystem. Experience in IoT, Energy, or Logistics is a significant advantage.
Core Competencies
Tool Mastery: Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite/Buffer, and paid social advertising (Ads Manager).
Copywriting: Exceptional ability to craft compelling narratives for both tech-savvy and lay audiences.
