Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Senior Project Engineer to anchor the operational engine of our engineering team. In the specialized Oil & Gas sector spanning onshore, offshore, and swamp environments success is defined by "Lifecycle Sovereignty"—the ability to harmonize complex technical workflows with the clinical precision required for Budgetary Control, Change Order Management, and ISO-Standard Quality Assurance. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" with 5–8 years of experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (conducting reviews of detailed design drawings) with the "Leadership Agility" required to mentor project teams and head incident investigations.

Requirements:

1. Engineering Orchestration & Project Governance

• Scheduling Sovereignty: Coordinate the technical and managerial aspects of projects from initial conception to final completion, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Velocity."

• Budgetary Architecture: Plan and control all project elements to ensure contract satisfaction within stipulated budgets, providing the "Structural Foundation" for fiscal success.

• Resource Stewardship: Assign tasks and mentor the project team to ensure performance standards are met, maintaining the "Source of Team Productivity."

2. Quality Resilience & Compliance Logic

• QA/QC Sovereignty: Establish and maintain safety and QA/QC programs in line with ISO 9001:2015, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional Quality."

• Design Architecture: Conduct rigorous reviews of detailed design drawings and specifications, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for successful engineering completion.

• Reporting Stewardship: Maintain accurate and timely reporting standards, including project status reports and change orders, ensuring the "Source of Management Visibility" is pristine.

3. HSE Integrity & Life Protection Power

• Safety Sovereignty: Head site HSE meetings, incident investigation teams, and morning pep talks, acting as the primary "Source of Life and Asset Protection."

• Authority Logic: Exercise the power to Stop Work that potentially harms people or the environment, providing the "Ethical Foundation" for site safety.

• Asset Stewardship: Liaise with third-party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose, utilizing 5–8 years of Oil & Gas expertise to maximize the "Source of Operational Reliability."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc or HND in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a Project Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Credentials: COREN membership is required; PMP certification is a high-value strategic advantage.

• Safety: HSE Level 3 minimum.

Technical Competencies

• Systems Mastery: Proficiency in CMMS, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.

• Operational Grit: Extensive work experience in offshore/swamp environments.

• Leadership Power: Strong track record of successfully completed projects and confident decision-making ability.
