Are you a highly skilled finance professional looking for a senior-level opportunity in Ikoyi? [Company Name] is seeking a Senior Financial Control Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our financial records, overseeing comprehensive financial reporting, managing complex reconciliations, and strengthening our internal control framework to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.

• Reconciliation: Perform deep-dive reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and inter-company transactions to ensure zero discrepancies.

• Internal Controls: Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control policies to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud.

• Compliance: Ensure all financial activities align with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

• Analysis: Provide management with data-driven insights to support strategic financial planning and cost optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Certification: ACA or ACCA certification is highly preferred.

• Experience: 4–7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the financial services sector.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using enterprise-grade accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Oracle).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
