Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-to-day operations in the salon and analyzing results
- Managing salon staff + timetables
- Managing the salon booking process + ensuring client satisfaction
- Aiding in developing new structures and processes
- Assisting in executing KA sales + marketing strategy
- Liaising + networking with a range of stakeholders: senior management, suppliers, colleagues + partner organisations,
- In summary, the main aim of the role is to ensure the smooth running of our salon, addressing/troubleshooting problems as they arise, managing staff and effectively communicating store activities to the Founder and other senior management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a salon or retail team (we will follow up on references)
- A “people person” – someone who can get on with junior staff, senior management and customers alike
- A problem solver who doesn’t just burden management with issues, but can think through and present potential solutions
- A team player who truly wants to see the business succeed
- Demonstrable professionalism and ambition, with an extremely strong work ethic
- The ability to think on your feet without requiring constant instructions or validation
- Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Strong organizational, people + time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Self-discipline, a strong work ethic + trustworthiness
5 Days/Week based in Lekki. Some Sunday afternoon shifts required
