Job Description:
- Our client is seeking a highly driven and commercially savvy Sales Manager (Business Development Manager) to lead customer acquisition, market expansion, and strategic partnerships within the logistics and express delivery sector.
- This role requires a results-oriented sales professional with strong experience in logistics, courier, express delivery, or e-commerce (e.g., Jumia, GIG, DHL, FedEx, Kwik, UPS, etc.) and a proven ability to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in the logistics and express delivery segment.
- Develop customized business proposals and client-focused solutions.
- Expand the Client’s market footprint through targeted engagement of high-value prospects.
- Lead end-to-end business development from lead generation to contract closure.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to unlock new revenue opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
Product Knowledge & Collaboration:
- Provide market insights related to logistics, courier, and e-commerce delivery operations.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure service feasibility, accurate pricing, and operational efficiency.
- Develop client-specific logistics solutions using industry best practices.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales activities to optimize conversion and retention.
- Use CRM tools to manage client relationships and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare periodic reports and insights for decision-making.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- MBA or professional training in Sales/Logistics is an added advantage.
Salary
