Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Process Safety Engineer to champion safety culture and operational excellence across our high-risk project sites, including tank farms, FPSOs, vessels, and electrical power plants. In this role, you will lead the implementation of rigorous Process Safety Management (PSM) systems, conduct critical safety training, and oversee high-stakes protocols like LOTO and Confined Space entry. Requirements:

• Safety Training & Mentorship: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for clients on Process Safety Management, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry (CSE), and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

• System Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain PSM systems in strict alignment with OSHA 1910.119 and API RP 754 standards.

• Risk Assessment & Hazard Mitigation: Lead Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies, "What-If" analysis, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) sessions to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

• Operational Scope Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of LOTO, CSE, Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, and PTW scopes of work.

• Simulator Training: Manage and conduct Gas Testing Simulator training at client facilities to ensure team readiness.

• Compliance & Reporting: Monitor safety performance, attend safety meetings, and prepare detailed analytical reports for the HR Manager and the CEO.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related science discipline.

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven professional experience in process safety, chemical plants, vessels, or the Oil & Gas industry.

• Mandatory Certifications: Valid HSE certification (OPITO, NEBOSH Diploma, STCW, or Marine Certification).

• Technical Skills: Deep practical knowledge of gas testing, LOTO procedures, machine guarding, and confined space operations in industrial settings.

• Certifications (Advantageous): Possession of Gas Tester, Confined Space Attendant, or Fire Watch certificates is highly preferred and considered a strong advantage.

• Mindset: A hands-on, field-oriented approach with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
