We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- The Risk Professional will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the company’s risk management framework across operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic areas.
- The role ensures the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks to safeguard the company’s assets, operations, and reputation within the power distribution sector.
- Depending on experience level, the individual will contribute to or lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide risk management initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory standards
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and documenting operational and enterprise risks.
- Support the implementation of risk control measures and monitor compliance.
- Maintain risk registers and update risk dashboards.
- Conduct risk awareness sessions and promote a risk-conscious culture.
- Prepare periodic risk reports and assist in incident investigations.
- Lead periodic risk assessments across business units and processes.
- Develop, implement, and review risk management policies and procedures.
- Analyze and report risk exposures, trends, and mitigation effectiveness.
- Support regulatory compliance and coordinate internal control reviews.
- Collaborate with process owners to strengthen control environments and ensure business continuity.
- Guide and mentor junior risk officers or analysts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications or related credentials (added advantage).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Sound understanding of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory requirements Strategic thinking and leadership (for senior levels)
