Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Risk Management Officer to strengthen our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across operational, financial, regulatory, and cybersecurity domains. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to influence organizational resilience by embedding a culture of risk awareness and rigorous internal controls across all business functions.
Requirements:
ERM Framework Implementation: Support the deployment of our ERM policies and tools. You will lead periodic risk assessments, maintain the enterprise risk register, and ensure that mitigation strategies are not just documented, but effectively implemented.
Operational & Business Risk: Proactively identify vulnerabilities in processes, systems, and people. Collaborate with unit heads to design internal controls that minimize exposure and support business continuity planning.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external standards, including GDPR, NDPR, and other relevant industry regulations. Lead compliance reviews and follow up on remediation activities.
Technology & Cybersecurity Risk: Partner with our IT and Information Security teams to identify risks related to data security, digital transformation, and system vulnerabilities.
Reporting & Analysis: Transform complex risk data into actionable insights. Prepare high-level dashboards and reports for Executive Leadership and Board Committees to facilitate informed decision-making.
Risk Culture & Training: Champion risk awareness across the organization. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that every department understands their role in managing our risk appetite.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 4–7 years of dedicated experience in risk management, internal control, compliance, or audit—preferably within a technology, financial services, or consulting environment.
Professional Certification: Highly desirable credentials include CRISC, CRM, FRM, PRM, ISO 31000, or CISA.
Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, mastery of Microsoft Office, and experience with risk reporting tools.
Key Competencies: Excellent report writing, stakeholder management, and the ability to maintain professional integrity while navigating complex organizational structures.
