Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team in Lekki Phase 1. As the first point of contact for our customers, you play a vital role in ensuring their dining experience starts on a positive note. We need someone who can handle the hustle of a busy kitchen, process payments accurately, and keep a cool head when things get busy.

Requirements:

Customer Service & Order Processing

• Order Management: Take customer orders accurately at the counter, ensuring all preferences are captured correctly.

• Service Excellence: Provide a warm and welcoming experience, even during high-pressure rush hours.

• Conflict Resolution: Use tact and patience to handle inquiries or resolve concerns from impatient or frustrated customers, ensuring they leave satisfied.

• Food Fulfillment: Assist in packing food orders neatly and accurately.

Financial Operations

• Cash Handling: Efficiently receive payments and provide accurate change.

• Register Management: Oversee all credit card and cash transactions using our POS systems.

• Accountability: Maintain a balanced register at the end of every shift, ensuring every transaction is accounted for.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: SSCE or OND qualification.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a fast-food restaurant is highly preferred.

• Proximity: Candidates must live in close proximity to Lekki Phase 1. (Applications from those living far away will not be considered).

• Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using digital POS/transaction machines.

• Core Competencies:

  • Mathematical Ability: You are comfortable working with figures and handling cash quickly and accurately.

  • Customer-First Mindset: You genuinely enjoy helping people and prioritize the customer experience above all else.

  • Multitasking: You can juggle order taking, payment processing, and packing food simultaneously.

  • Flexibility: You are available to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
