Job Description:
We are seeking smart, energetic, and highly persuasive Direct Sales Professionals to join our expansion team in Onitsha. This is a high-impact field role designed for "hunters"—individuals who thrive on the excitement of the marketplace and have the grit to convert prospects into long-term banking partners.
As a DSA (Retail) or DSE (SME), you will be the face of the bank in one of Nigeria's largest commercial hubs. Your mission is to drive financial inclusion by onboarding individual traders and structuring financial solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises. If you are target-driven, under 30, and ready to dominate the Onitsha market, we want you on our team.
Requirements:
1. Market Acquisition & Onboarding
Prospecting Excellence: Identify and acquire new retail customers (DSA) and SME clients (DSE) through consistent field marketing and "cold-calling" in commercial clusters.
Product Matching: Market and sell a comprehensive suite of financial products, including Savings/Current Accounts, Loans, and POS (Point of Sale) solutions.
Client Engagement: Conduct daily field activities to build a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring a constant flow of new business into the branch.
2. Relationship Management & Advisory
Needs Analysis: Evaluate the specific financial requirements of traders and SMEs to recommend tailored banking solutions that drive their business growth.
Portfolio Retention: Build and nurture long-term relationships with onboarded clients, serving as their primary contact for banking inquiries and service upgrades.
Revenue Growth: Move beyond simple account opening to drive product usage and meet assigned revenue and deposit targets.
3. Documentation & Compliance
KYC Integrity: Ensure all customer documentation is accurate, complete, and in full compliance with Central Bank and internal banking policies.
Reporting: Maintain precise records of daily sales activities and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager regarding market feedback and target progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. (Minimum of Second Class Lower or Upper Credit for HND).
Age: Must be under 30 years old.
Location: Must be a resident of Onitsha with deep knowledge of the local market terrain.
Gender: Both males and females are encouraged to apply.
Core Competencies
Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to influence diverse personalities, from small-scale traders to SME directors.
Resilience: A "never-say-die" attitude with the ability to handle rejection and remain focused on targets.

Experience: Previous sales experience (especially in Banking or Insurance) is a significant advantage.
