Job Description:
Program Delivery:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of sustainability-focused programs, events, workshops, and campaigns hosted at Zen.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to co-design impactful initiatives aligned with SustyVibes' mission.
- Develop program schedule and budgets for Zen-based initiatives and ensure smooth delivery.
- Identify strategic opportunities to expand Zen’s impact through new partnerships, content, and community engagement.
Operational Oversight:
- Supervise the Space Manager and provide support in ensuring Zen remains an organized, safe, vibrant, and functional space.
- Oversee day-to-day logistics, including procurement, vendor management, visitor coordination, and space upkeep.
- Ensure that the space consistently reflects SustyVibes’ identity, culture, and sustainability ethos.
Team and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the point person between project collaborators, the SustyVibes core team, community members, and external facilitators.
- Coordinate volunteers and interns for programs and events held at Zen.
- Foster a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere that supports collaboration and inclusion.
Administrative Support:
- Manage documentation and communications related to all Zen programs and events.
- Assist in creating proposals, reports, and presentations related to Zen programming.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of program outcomes, space usage, partnerships, and financial transactions.
Requirements:
- Strong project management skills - ability to manage multiple moving parts with structure and calm.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.
- High level of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
- Passion for sustainability, youth engagement, and community development.
- Ability to lead teams and inspire collaboration across diverse groups.
- Organizational and administrative dexterity - able to manage timelines, budgets, reports, and operations simultaneously.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic digital tools for events and project tracking.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (project management, communications, environmental sciences, or social sciences preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in program or project management, community engagement, or event coordination.
- Experience working in a sustainability-focused or nonprofit setting is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with budgeting, monitoring & evaluation, and stakeholder management.
