Job Description:
We are seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead our high-impact agricultural and infrastructure developments. As a key strategist and executor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex projects from integrated farm developments to large-scale infrastructure initiatives. You will serve as the bridge between technical execution, contractor management, and executive oversight, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
Project Lifecycle Leadership: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, leading initiatives from the initiation phase through to final handover.
Execution & Coordination: Direct multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors. You will be responsible for site inspections, quality control, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
Resource & Financial Management: Maintain strict budget control, track expenditures, and oversee procurement processes to ensure project cost-efficiency and compliance.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate seamless communication between investors, development partners, government agencies, and local community stakeholders.
Risk & Governance: Proactively identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
Reporting: Maintain high-level dashboards and documentation, providing management with clear visibility into project progress, KPIs, and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Construction, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a significant advantage).
Experience: 8–15 years of progressive project management experience, specifically within integrated farming, infrastructure, construction, or donor-funded development projects.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced Planning: Expertise in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
Management Tools: Proficiency in modern platforms like Asana, Monday.com, or Trello.
Analysis: Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, forecasting, and budget tracking.
Professional Certifications: Preference will be given to candidates holding PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or Agile certifications.
Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
