Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven and disciplined Production Supervisor to oversee our daily factory operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Production Manager to drive efficiency, maintain high quality standards, and lead a productive workforce. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who understands the complexities of a fast-paced production line and is committed to upholding rigorous safety and regulatory standards. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are equipped to manage our specific production workflows and meet our growth objectives.

Requirements:

Operational Oversight

• Daily Supervision: Lead and monitor daily production activities to ensure all output targets are met on schedule.

• Workflow Management: Oversee production lines to maintain a smooth, uninterrupted flow from raw materials to finished products.

• Downtime Reduction: Proactively coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimize production delays.

• Resource Management: Ensure the efficient use of raw materials and implement strategies to minimize wastage and operational costs.

Quality & Compliance

• Standards Adherence: Monitor all production processes to guarantee consistent product quality and adherence to company specifications.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict, ongoing compliance with NAFDAC, food safety, and industrial hygiene standards.

• Safety Enforcement: Rigorously enforce health and safety regulations within the factory to maintain a zero-accident environment.

Team Leadership & Administration

• Staff Management: Supervise factory workers, ensuring high levels of discipline, punctuality, and overall productivity.

• Reporting: Prepare accurate daily and weekly production reports for management review.

• Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational bottlenecks or staff challenges as they arise on the factory floor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Food Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, with a strong preference for candidates from the FMCG or food production sectors.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage large teams and influence positive workplace behavior.

• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of factory operations, quality control processes, and food safety protocols.

• Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends when necessary, to meet production demands.

• Location: Proximity to Lagos or Ogun State is a significant advantage.
