Job Description:

Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading name in the beverage sector, is seeking a technically proficient and highly organized Production Manager to oversee our bottled water and Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) operations in Abuja. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the production facility, ensuring that manufacturing workflows are optimized, safety standards are strictly met, and production targets are achieved with consistent quality. This role requires a leader who can independently manage complex production lines and harmonize technical processes with workforce management.

Requirements:

• Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production cycle for bottled water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD), ensuring seamless operational flow.

• Workflow Optimization: Independently organize and supervise the entire production line, implementing efficient manufacturing workflows to maximize output.

• Quality & Standards: Ensure all products strictly adhere to established company quality standards and national regulatory requirements (e.g., NAFDAC, SON).

• Resource Management: Coordinate manpower, raw materials, and machinery to minimize downtime and prevent waste.

• Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure long-term mechanical reliability and safety.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance overall plant efficiency.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and train production staff, fostering a culture of safety, discipline, and high productivity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical), Food Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Professional Certification: Relevant professional certifications in Production Management or Quality Control are highly preferred.

• Experience: 3–10 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Expertise: Deep familiarity with bottled water and CSD (Carbonated Soft Drink) production technology and automated manufacturing systems.

• Managerial Skills: Demonstrated ability to independently lead a production line and organize large teams under tight deadlines.
