Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer to anchor our supply chain operations. This role is pivotal to our distribution success, focusing on the bulk acquisition of finished beverage products—including beer, malt, and soft drinks—and the essential supplies that keep our operations running.

As a Procurement Officer, you will bridge the gap between breweries and our warehouse, ensuring that product availability consistently meets market demand. Your mission is to master the art of "Just-in-Time" procurement, balancing cost control with aggressive stock management to prevent stockouts and maximize profitability. Requirements:

1. Bulk Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Direct Brewery Liaison: Manage bulk procurement of finished beverages from breweries and authorized suppliers, ensuring all orders align with sales forecasts.

• Supplier Governance: Coordinate with partners to confirm real-time pricing, product availability, and strict delivery schedules.

• Negotiation & Terms: Support efforts to secure competitive pricing and favorable credit terms, directly impacting the company’s bottom line.

2. Inventory Analytics & Stock Control

• Replenishment Strategy: Monitor stock levels and sales velocity to trigger timely replenishment, ensuring the warehouse is optimized for peak distribution periods.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to maintain steady product flow.

• Record Integrity: Prepare purchase orders (POs), maintain meticulous procurement logs, and track supplier invoices for reconciliation.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting

• Logistics Alignment: Work in lockstep with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to synchronize inbound deliveries with distribution plans.

• Performance Reporting: Prepare comprehensive procurement and stock-aging reports for management, highlighting cost savings and vendor performance.

• Ethical Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities strictly adhere to company policies and industry-standard ethical guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of HND / B.Sc / B.Tech in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.

• Experience: Proven experience in purchasing, preferably within FMCG or beverage distribution.

• Technical IQ: Solid understanding of bulk purchasing dynamics and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
